Celebrating the Birthday of Su Dongpo
Celebrating the Birthday of Su Dongpo is a special exhibition hosted by the Silicon Valley Asian Art Center from February 6–9. The exhibition honors the life and cultural legacy of Su Dongpo (Su Shi), one of China’s most celebrated poets, calligraphers, and scholars of the Song dynasty. Featuring works of calligraphy, paintings, and related art inspired by Su Dongpo’s literary and artistic spirit, the event invites visitors to explore his enduring influence on Chinese art and culture. An opening reception will be held on February 6 from 3–6 pm, with guided tours available on February 7 and 8 from 2–4:30 pm at the Center’s Santa Clara location.
